7th/8th Grade Jazz Band -  This assemble is open to 7th/8th graders who are interested in pursuing jazz.  This is an auditioned based group, meaning students have to successfully audition into this ensemble.  In this group, we study a wide variety of music including jazz, blues, swing, rock, funk, latin, and many other varieties of style.  The group rehearses once a week, and has multiple performances throughout the year.

***  The Jazz Band will have their debut performance, Friday April 18th, 2008, @ 12pm.  They are performing as part of the nationally recognized Thornapple Arts Council Jazz Festival in Hastings, Michigan.
